The students made globes that were hanging from the ceiling on Curriculum Night. First they used starch, water and newspaper to make the balloons firm, then they painted them blue. Next, they traced, labeled and cut out the 7 continents and positioned them on the globe. Some kids added glitter for a final touch. This was part of our Continents, Oceans, and Map Skills Unit. Nicely done gang!
